I haven’t written in at least a couple weeks. I haven’t known what to say and writing my weekly recaps were starting to feel tedious. I don’t want to force myself to write if I’m not feeling it. That’s when you start hating what you love and I can’t have that.

Anyway.

I read six books in May.

  • Titanic Survivor by Violet Jessop
  • From Here to Eternity by Caitlin Doughty
  • Shady Hollow by Juneau Black
  • Cold Clay by Juneau Black
  • The Finest Hours by Michael J. Tougias
  • The Perfect Son by Freida McFadden

My least favorite read is The Perfect Son. The author had it all set up for one person to be a bad guy then made it someone else with very little evidence pointing to the other person and it made me mad. This is why I don’t read thrillers. It’s okay to do surprises but I want to be able to go back and see everything leading up to it. That didn’t happen in this book. There was only one scene in the entire book where McFadden says this person came home smelling…
